COLOURPOP REVIEW!!!
I was super happy to get these in the mail!!! I first saw these like I said in my video on CoffeebreakwithDani YouTube channel. The colors I got from left to right are Sugar, Birthday Girl, Animal and one blush in Prenup.
Here us another picture, it came in a very well wrapped package and a very cute note came in as well, a very nice personable touch!! Love it!! Also a card for each different product like eyeshadow and blush, that tells you how to best apply product and how to use. Like I said in my video the texture is very interesting, but super cool, they go on smooth and blend like a dream. The eyeshadows are only $5.00 a piece and the Blush is $8.00, great value!!! Did I mention that with a $30.00 purchase shipping is FREE!!!!
This is a view from top lol! They come in these super cute round containers that screw on and off. They suggest that you keep the lid on at all times when not using so the product won't dry out. The pink container is actually a limited edition and is not available as of now. It was actually free that week because it was ColourPops birthday.
Here is a swatch of the colors in natural sun light. From left to right the colors are: Prenup (the blush), Birthday Girl, Sugar and last Animal. The colors are very pigmented and go on super easy as well as the Birthday girl and Animal are more of a pressed pigment and go over other colors nicely. I loved playing with them.
Here is the same hand in room light not in front of window. Also want to add that I have been using the Birthday girl and Animal over other shadows that I own already and love it. As far as wear, I do use an eyeshadow primer under and they last all day without creasing! The blush also is very long wearing 8 hours or more I put my makeup on very early around 6:00 a.m. and early evening 6:00 p.m you can still see the blush very well. Awesome Job ColourPop!! Below is a look I created with just these eyeshadows and Creme Brule from MUG in the crease, and a cream black eyeliner.
This is enlarged and in natural sunlight so kinda grainy, sorry, but you can see the pigment is amazing. The color on my lid is Animal and in center I tapped Birthday Girl and in crease is Sugar and Creme Bruele.
If you want to purchase any here is the site.
This is not a sponsored blog or video in anyway. I really do love the shadows and have purchased a set right after using these.
